Never ending Lockdown in beautiful Telaga bay, Langkawi
Already for a total of 3 months we are sitting in the Bay of Telaga. A few times we have considered whether a change of scenery is worthwhile, and since 2 weeks we are officially allowed to move by ship in the Langkawi area. Since the alternatives are basically the muddy basin in Kuah, the “city anchorage” or a completely uninhabited island, we prefer to stay here nevertheless.

What a frustration, we can hardly believe it. The day before yesterday we have received the information that the finance minister stated that the country already lost RM 63 Billion due to the lockdown measures here in Malaysia and an additional month would cost up to RM 100 billion. The measures will be gradually eased from May 4th, shops and restaurants opening.

Thoughts and Video during our Lockdown in Malaysia
So, now the complete Lock down has also arrived to Malaysia. Since Apr 1st the second phase is in place, the controls are more strict, thousands (Mar 31: 1100 people) have already been arrested or fined (6 months jail or RMY 1000 (USD 250.-). We read from a man that has been arrested for jogging all by himself. Great!
